So, I’m still working on the site off and on, I really am. Life and work has just eaten into my time, it seems, so the site-work here has been in fits and starts. Speaking of site-work, that’s a good chunk of what I’ve been doing: working on the website for a business. That’s my next big project, now that the Server/Workstations/Internal-Network has been “installed” and a tutorial written up for the Shop Manager at the Tow Service. One major project done, the next one on the way.

And now it is December already. Some gifts have been purchased, some are being made, and others still need to be obtained for family and friends. Oh, and Finals for my two classes. Not to mention the temperatures that drop below freezing the past couple of days. Brrr!

So, if I don’t manage to post something up between now and then, Merry Yule! May you and yours have a wonderful holiday season, whatever you celebrate!

Ah, the Midwest. People here aren’t happy in the summer and they’re not happy in the winter. If it’s hot, they wish for cold. If it’s cold, they wish for heat. I’ve never fully understood it, m’self, but what can y’do?

Last week, it was getting up into, at highest, the low 80′s, generally the upper 70′s. It was upper 70′s this past weekend. Yesterday was a little chill, but nothing that wasn’t bearable. Today, though… Today, as I left for class, I popped back inside to grab my scarf. It was still chill enough, though, that the scarf didn’t aid me much. And I heard on NPR that the temperatures over the next couple of nights are going to drop to and below freezing.

I’m not ready for my hands to be living ice cubes, but I do enjoy the beauty of Autumn. I’ll manage….

On Friday, September 16th, I will celebrate the 31st Anniversary of the day I entered this world! A lot has happened in these past 3 decades, but I don’t think I’d change any of it. Thank you, everyone, for such a wonderful time so far!

I had to fight with things earlier, but I finally got things working the way I want them to be! So, welcome to my world. I’ll try to upkeep things around here, but don’t hold your breath. Wouldn’t want you turning blue, after all, would we?

Slowly, I’m getting things pulled together.  I’m debating on how to work the Images section, though.  Should I even have it there to begin with?  If so, should I draw the line at 3 year ago is the newest I’m going to post and shove everything else into “Old Stuff”?  And if I should do that, should I separate it out into Fanworks, GiftArt, and Original Characters?  I’m not sure, but I think it’s time to pull in my Artiste to help me decide!

Had to put this onto the back burner for a little bit, but now we’re back into the fray!  Added a page for Poems and put up the links for my Original Stories.  Slowly, but surely, we’re getting there.

So far, I have made some progress.  Not sure which theme I’m going to go with just yet, but I have menus and more.  Will continue to work on things as they go.

So, decided to do something a little different with the site.  Am going to be using WordPress, I think.  We shall see how well this works, yo.  Still working on getting things ironed out, but I think it will happen.  Hopefully.  If not WordPress, then it will be Joomla.  But for the moment, we’re going to try this.
